Global Sociology in Turbulent Times
The XXI ISA World Congress of Sociology will take place in Gwangju, South Korea, from July 4 to 10, 2027, under the theme “Global Sociology in Turbulent Times.” The congress visual identity draws on Hangul and the cultural heritage of Gwangju, emphasizing inclusivity, connection, dialogue, diversity, and the coming together of global sociological voices.
